How to do firmware update via the Web

Caution Make sure that external peripheral systems will be ok when the system reboots. The system will go offline and reboot, if there is a critical contactor that must remain energised additional measures must be made by you to prevent the disruption of power.

Step 1 - Go to the Tools Menu

Step 2 - Press the Firmware updater button.

Step 3 - Press Start

Troubleshooting

1. make sure system is in Technican mode with valid pincode

2. firmware on device needs to be in recent enough to handle remote web firmware updates

3. Must be enable for web firmware updates, on the Hardware > System setup screen enable the feature "Web Updates"

Process takes time to run and will update then verify has completed the download successfully before doing a restart using the new program.
