Understanding Tools - Quick History Extractor

Administrative tool to access the saved data on the device.

This screen is accessed via the   Tools option on the Menu, then choosing the Quicklog Extract option.

Options

The Options can be specified on the Options Tab.   Start here.

The first thing to do is to press Fetch Metrics

This tells you how many records are available and the most recent time and data recorded.

Base your search range on this number of records e.g. if you want the last 200 records 9624 to 9823 would be the range specified.  Then press Start

Field Definitions

History Range:  This allows you to specify the range of records to be extracted

Skip Blanks:  ON to Blank records are skipped

Save to file:  ON to save to file

Reverse Order:  ON to have the most recent records first going to the oldest

Append:  Allows you to append to the existing extract rather than great a new one

Fetch Metrics:  Clicking this link brings details on the number of records in the system that are available.

Generally if Number of records and Max records the difference is the number of Blank records.  If wanting to extract everything the Last Record would be the max records number.

Progressive

This tab shows when you press Start the values as you go through the records with success at the end if values have been stored.

Results

The results appear in a grid with fields of ID, Record Date, Record Time, Cell Volt Low, Cell Volt High, Cell Volt Average, Cell Temp Avg, SoC, Shunt Volt, Shunt Amp

Note that without a Shunt the SoC, Shunt Volt and Shunt Amp will be 0

Open Folder:  This takes you to the folder where the extract is placed
