The Batrium Shunt is a shunt-based precision current measurement module. The module is designed to achieve an accuracy of ±1.0 % for current measurement over the whole operating temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C.
Characteristics:
- 100 µOhm shunt
- ± 200 A continuous
- ± 375 A peak
- 150 V voltage measurement
Features:
- Turnkey solution for use in the field
- Typically achieves ±1.0 % accuracy of current measurement
- Accurate voltage measurement with flexible range
- Accurate temperature measurements
- Resolves currents from 3 mA to 500A
- Automotive temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C
- Low power consumption
- Galvanically isolated communication
- Isolated front end for “high” or “low” side current sensing and attenuation of system-induced noise
- Built-in calibration for current measurements
- Built-in compensation for resistance dependence of the shunt on temperature
- Built-in calibration for voltage measurements
- Temperature reporting in degrees Celsius
- Total coulomb counters
Alternate shunts are available for those who wish to measure smaller or higher currents.
